You asked for evening opportunities to help - Introducing Warehouse HYP Mondays!
The construction team has put together projects to help support new home builds that can be done in the warehouse.
Sample projects:
- Framing Prep (Plates, Jack/Kings, Headers, Cripples, etc.)
- Cutting / Bending Metal for Fascia, Z-Flashing and Birdboxes
- Building sheds
- Other projects to help the sites stay on schedule.
Come join us in a climate-controlled environment (Rain or Shine, Hot or Cold).
Don't have construction experience - Come anyway, we will teach you!

May 13: Trusses
June 12: Warehouse Night (6-8pm)
June 24: Trusses in Sturtevant
Waivers Please fill out the electronic waiver form.
Age: Volunteers must be ages 16 and older.
What to Wear: Closed-toed, flat-soled shoes only (tennis shoes, work boots, etc) Do not wear clothing or jewelry that is so loose that it could easily get snagged on the build site. Wear clothing that you do not mind getting dirty and dress for the weather.
What to Bring: Water bottle & tools if you have them: gloves, hammer, measuring tape, nail pouch, pencil. If you do not have personal tools you can still volunteer – we will have tools for you to use! Snacks and water/gatorade will be provided for everyone.
