Volunteer: 101 A and B Sturtevant - Credit Union Build

All Shifts are included below. Please look at the time and date to select when you would like to volunteer! On weekdays we have 2 shifts per day: AM (8:00 am - 11:30 am) and PM (12:00 pm - 3:30 pm). Saturdays we work one shift from 8:00am – 2:00pm.

May 27-30: Doors and trim on 101 A Sturtevant 

June 3-6: Paint on 101 A Sturtevant 

June 3-6: Doors and trim on 101 B Sturtevant 

June 11-13: Shelving and hardware at 101 A Sturtevant 

June 10-13: Paint on 101 B Sturtevant 

June 18-20: Shelving and hardware at 101 B Sturtevant 

July 9-10: Punch

July 11: Landscape 

July 15-18: Punch 

Waivers: Please fill out the electronic waiver form. In addition, by signing up, volunteers agree to abide by the Habitat Code of Conduct. 

Age: Volunteers must be ages 16 and older except on Landscaping Day (14+)

What to Wear: Closed-toe, flat-soled shoes only (tennis shoes, work boots, etc.) Do not wear clothing or jewelry so loose it could easily get snagged on the build site. Wear clothing you do not mind getting dirty and dress for the weather. 

What to Bring: Water bottle, packed lunch if you are staying all day, and tools if you have them: gloves, hammer, measuring tape, nail pouch, pencil. If you do not have personal tools, you can still volunteer – we will have tools for you to use! Snacks and water/Gatorade will be provided for everyone.

Parking: Please park in the lot of the funeral home at the end of Sturtevant St on Pendelton St.
