All Shifts are included below. Please look at the time and date to select when you would like to volunteer! On weekdays we have 2 shifts per day: AM (8:00 am - 11:30 am) and PM (12:00 pm - 3:30 pm). Saturdays we work one shift from 8:00am – 2:00pm.

April 29-May 9: Framing and Trusses

May 13-May 23: Siding 

July 1-2: Doors and trim 

July 9-11: Paint

July 16-18: Shelving and hardware 

August 6-8: Punch and Landscape 

Waivers: Please fill out the electronic waiver form. In addition, by signing up, volunteers agree to abide by the Habitat Code of Conduct. 

Age: Volunteers must be ages 16 and older except on Landscaping Day (14+)

What to Wear: Closed-toe, flat-soled shoes only (tennis shoes, work boots, etc.) Do not wear clothing or jewelry so loose it could easily get snagged on the build site. Wear clothing you do not mind getting dirty and dress for the weather. 

What to Bring: Water bottle, packed lunch if you are staying all day, and tools if you have them: gloves, hammer, measuring tape, nail pouch, pencil. If you do not have personal tools, you can still volunteer – we will have tools for you to use! Snacks and water/Gatorade will be provided for everyone.

Parking: Please park in the lot of the funeral home at the end of Sturtevant St on Pendelton St.

Our families have done a lot of work to get to this point - over 200 hours of sweat equity that includes volunteering in the community, taking classes to prepare for homeownership, and working on their own house and other Habitat builds. We are excited for them and proud of their accomplishment and hope you will join us in the final step of this life changing process - the building of their new home!
